Here are the rest of the tips I shared during November, in the hope they might help those doing NaNoWriMo…1.
16. Do you have people you trust to look at your work, and give you honest feedback? If so, that's great. If not, consider joining a writing group, online or in real life. Much of the feedback won't help, but some will be priceless.
17. Don't forget to go out into the world, with your antennae up. Writing is solitary, but you need to put fuel into the tank.
18. Spend a bit of time thinking about where you are in the book you're writing. Why is this story the one you've chosen to tell? Why did the idea grab you? What is it about the thing that inspired you?
