Welcome to the latest issue of The Writers’ Lodge! How is everyone doing?
Life seems frantic right now, the news cycle punishing, there’s lots to worry about. But I hope everyone is managing to find a little respite, and perhaps a little hope, in their writing? When real life feels a bit much, a book can be a wonderful place to escape to. And that can be a book you’re reading, or one you’re creating.
That said, do I leap out of bed every day, eager to get to my work in progress? No. Though a writing project can be a great place to spend a few hours, getting there isn’t always easy…
