Hi everyone!
This week’s #SJsTwitterBookClub featured author S E Lynes (@SELynesAuthor), and we chatted about her phenomenal, twisty novel The Housewarming.
I asked Susie for a spoiler-free tweet-length introduction to the book. “A child goes missing. Almost a year later, some neighbours throw a party where a chance remark sets of a series of revelations and the mystery is uncovered.”
Susie then told us why she thought The Housewarming was so well-loved by so many of her readers. “My readers are the absolute best. I think the HW touched a chord because it was really about community and how what we do matters.”
Amid a far ranging and fascinating discussion (click on the tweet below to catch up) we met Susie’s alter-ego, when she was asked if she’d ever write books in other genres…
I for one can’t wait to meet Tallulah…
Next week #SJsTwitterBookClub will be on TUESDAY (at 7pm UK time) when @cathryanhoward returns, this time to talk about her superb lockdown thriller, 56 DAYS. Don’t miss it!
Happy reading!
